Air Cooled After Coolers
Aftercooler dryers use ambient air to lower the temperature of compressed air. Sometimes called air-cooled aftercoolers, these tools pass air over a set of warmed coils to condense any existing water vapor into liquid. This liquid is then removed through a drain within the unit's housing to prevent buildup within a larger compressed air system.
